Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean Port Program – Solar Engineering & Construction Services
The Detroit/Wayne County Port Authority is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean Port Program. The Port of Detroit is seeking proposals from a qualified Design-Build Contractor to provide engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning, and performance verification of a photovoltaic solar array estimated at 316 kW to offset energy used for charging industrial electric vehicles. The Port of Detroit welcomes interested contractors to review the detailed requirements in the attached RFP and submit their proposals to rfp@portdetroit.com no later than January 30, 2026.
