Question 1: What lift capacity is required for both light duty and medium duty trucks?

Answer:

One (1) 10,000 lbs forklift with double carriage

  • Handles loads up to 10,000 lbs.
  • Double carriage allows for wider or heavier pallets.

Two (2) 5,000 lbs forklifts

  • Each unit handles medium loads.
  • Can be used together for larger lifts when necessary, following safety requirements.

Question 2: Can you please give me the capacity or capacities that you need for this RFP? The fork specs of 48” x 6” x 2” Class III are for our 6,000 lbs. forklifts, should I quote (4) at this capacity?

Answer:

Quote four units at 6,000 lb capacity if that’s your standard Class III offering. Please indicate whether each unit is light-duty (~27 kW) or medium-duty (~60 kW) so the Owner can evaluate the mix of options.

Question 3: High Voltage 90 Volt Electrical systems? We offer an 80 Volt Electric Pneumatic Forklift. Will this work?

Answer:

You can propose your 80V electric pneumatic forklift as a compliant alternative. Please provide details on charging time and confirm that performance, safety, and compliance are not significantly impacted.

Question 4: Do you want a heated cab?

Answer:

A heated cab is not required under the base specifications. Please include this as an optional item.
