Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean Port Program – Electric Boats

The Detroit/Wayne County Port Authority is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean Port Program. The Port of Detroit is seeking proposals from qualified manufacturers or marine engineering firms to design, build, and deliver up to two (2) electric vessels, approximately 24–25 feet in length, to support our operational needs. The Port of Detroit welcomes those interested to review the detailed requirements in the attached RFP and submit their proposals to rfp@portdetroit.com no later than June 10, 2026.
