Environmental Protection Agency Clean Ports Program – Charger Installation
The Detroit/Wayne County Port Authority, through this Request for Proposal (“RFP”), is seeking a Contractor to perform full construction services for the installation of two (2) Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations at the Detroit Police Harbor Master Facility, Pleasure Drive, Belle Isle, Detroit, Michigan 48207. The EV Charging Stations have been procured under a separate RFP; this RFP is for the preparation, installations, and connections only. All bidders must submit their best and final offer at the time of bid submission. Bids will be received by the Port Authority via email to: rfp@portdetroit.com, until October 7, 2026, at 5:00 PM ET. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit for the Project will be held on September 17, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. ET, at the Detroit Harbor Master Facility. Questions regarding this RFP may be submitted to rfp@portdetroit.com no later than 5 p.m. ET, September 24, 2026. Answers along with questions (but not the identity of the questioner) will be posted on the Port Authority website by 5 p.m. ET, September 30, 2026. Important Dates
